Craig heads up Barkroyal’s groundskeeping and maintenance team, keeping everything at Barkroyal spotlessly clean. When he’s not busy as Chief Poop Scooper, Craig and his team of working dogs form a brilliant team training, performing and competing in sheep dog trial across Queensland. His dogs have featured in shows for Australian Outback Spectacular, Paradise Country, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, the EKKA and entertained thousands at regional and metropolitan shows with herding and shearing displays.

My must-watch animal movie/bookThe Man From Snowy River
If I was a dog breed, I would be a…Border Collie: because I can’t sit still
If my pet could talk, I would ask them…Why do you bark when I leave the house? Is it because you find it funny that my wife yells at me when you do?
A breed I’d love to have one day…A Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog
Best thing about working at BarkroyalWhen the regular guests arrive and they are so excited to see us. It’s like catching up with a long lost friend.
Something funny or special that only happens at Barkroyal? For VIP guests like Charlie, a Springer Spaniel, Barkroyal is a second home. If Charlie can see me, he will lie down and not move until I’ve given him a pat. He’s nearly pulled staff over trying to get over to me. He’s such a funny boy
My one piece of advice for pet owners would be…We can tell a lot about you from your pets.
